Le Suprême is a Parisian-inspired brasserie offering exceptional French fare in Downtown Detroit.

Creative Direction

The content should feel like stills from a film you wish you were in. Romantic, cinematic, slightly nostalgic, and always alive. Document dishes and interiors as static objects, but with movement.

Think French New Wave, 1960s–90s romantic films, Wong Kar-wai intimacy, old paparazzi, editorial photography, and contemporary films that make restaurants feel like characters themselves. Photo and video should sometimes feel caught rather than staged.

Moodboard

Social Strategy

Pillar 1: Set the mood: A better place is hard to find

Purpose: Brand building + desire

Made Le Suprême feel like a place you want to disappear into for a few hours. Content captured the romance, movement, intimacy, and energy of the restaurant rather than simply documenting the space.

Think cinematic moments: motion blur, candlelight, martinis crossing the room, couples at the bar, hands reaching across tables, reflections in mirrors. Movie references informed both photography and reels—French New Wave, romantic cinema, opening credits, subtitles, jump cuts, close-ups.

I come to restaurants to be adored.

Pillar 2: Plat de Jour: There’s always a reason to come back

Purpose: Food storytelling + frequency

Made the Plat du Jour a recognizable recurring social franchise rather than simply another menu post. The changing dishes create a built-in reason to follow the account and, more importantly, a reason to return to the restaurant.

We gave each special its own little editorial moment: ingredients, a beautiful hero shot, tableside action, or a short cinematic reel.

Your favorite night at Le Suprême might be tonight.

Pillar 3: À votre table: Seen at Le Suprême

Purpose: Community + social proof

We let guests help tell the story. Built an intentional UGC, creator, and influencer program around people whose content naturally fits the Le Suprême world—food, fashion, design, culture, nightlife, travel, and Detroit personalities rather than only traditional food influencers.

Reposted strong organic UGC alongside commissioned creator content so it feels like different glimpses into the same world. Invited creators for specific experiences—Plat du Jour, date night, cocktails at the bar, birthdays, late dinners—rather than simply asking them to “come make content.”

This is also where the cinematic concept became playful.

Everyone has their own Le Suprême story.
